Sunday Services

N.B. New Service Times Starting February 2019

9:00 am Said Communion: A said service of Holy Communion in traditional language.

10:30 am Family Sung Communion: Our main service each week. Common Worship style Holy Communion with hymns lead by our choir and organist. Following a short children’s talk in the main service we have Children’s Church in the Church Rooms during the main part of the service and a crèche open throughout for younger ones.

10:30 am Parade Service (2nd Sunday of each month): Our uniformed organisations join us in force for a fun service with more contemporary songs lead by the music group. Followed at 12pm by Said Holy Communion.

4:30pm CONNECT (term time only): Real Life Church. A fun, informal, varied, creative and contemporary church service designed with all ages in mind. With child-friendly activities as well as groups for young people and adults, helping the whole family to engage more deeply with their faith and connect it to their real life.

6:30 Sung Evensong (1st Sunday of each month): A traditional lay led evensong with no sermon.

Weekday Services

Monday 10:00 am A Time to Pray: (term time only) In the Jaques room in the Church Halls. An informal time to pray for the Church, mission and people in need. With hymns led on piano.

  1. Hi I have seen on ur website that u have a running group for beginners how can I find more information out about this many thanks

    1. Hi Anne, thanks for getting in touch. Our St Andrew’s Running Group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm outside St Butolph’s Church. The group runs a 5k route each week. Everyone is of different abilities so you can run at your own pace and know that you will have a few people alongside you cheering you on. About twice a year we have run a couch to 5k programme, where we take complete beginners from not running at all to running 5k, in 9 weeks! We will likely start another couch to 5k programme after Easter. We would love for you to join us then or you can start running with us right away. Either way, we can’t wait for you to join us.

      1. Hi Shakeel, Does the running club still meet? I go to St Bots and we’ve been thinking about starting a running group for a while now. It might be nice if we joined your lot (if you’ll have us!). Thanks, Joe

    1. Hi Emma, our tots group ‘Little Ands’ meets every Thursday during term time. So we will not be on this week during half term but will return on Thursday 6th June at 9.30 in the Church Hall. Hope to see you there. Shakeel (church intern)

  2. Hi Shakeel, Do you still do the Running Group on a Wednesday night. I go to St. Bots, and we’ve been thinking of starting a running group for a while now, but I think it might be nice to join you guys (if you’ll have us).
